Firewood Outing...

We went up into the forest again yesterday to gather more firewood for Winter. I took my camera and took a few pics. I would like to hear your thoughts on these photos.

These tall yellow trees (Tamerack) are what we are looking to cut for wood. The needles turn yellow for Winter, but the tree is still very much alive. We would not cut these!

    My favorite is the second. I like the bare tree limbs against their background! It looks like a beautiful place!

    I miss the colors of the tamaracs. Looks a lot like where my wife grew up.
