Cooliris distorts pictures

Is there a way to prevent Cooliris from distorting photos. When a photo initially loads in the "fuzzy" view, everything is fine, but when the better quality picture loads a split second later, the image resizes to fit into the square box of Cooliris, distorting images badly.

This happens on all the random albums I've checked on the site, so it's not exclusive to my site. Thoughts?

If you disable square thumbnails then the aspect ratio gets restored.
