PM box weirdness

The "Private messages' Line under my visit/login hello on the rh side of the header currently reads

"Private Messages: Unread 65534, Total 493."

Now I know it's my birthday and people are nice but.....66K messages? Somehow I don't think so!! :rofl

Do I need to do anything, or is it just a display glitch?

ETA I deleted some messages just to keep it further away from 500 and it restored itself, but I'm still laughing at the idea of 65,000 messages...... I wish I'd done a screenshot just for fun :giggle

I think this is VBulletin weirdness

One possible solution: Go to your inbox, on the right side, mark the top-most box (the one that selects all messages):



Then, go down and select 'mark as read' in the 'selected messages' pull-down menu:



and click 'go'. This may get things back to normal for you
