If anyone is interested, I just updated my Marine Mammal gallery with some of my favorite humpback whale images from 2007. Too much fun!

Wow. Ok. Those are some of the best humpback whale shots I've ever seen. The rest of your gallery is none too shabby either. You really get around. :wow

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Wonderful shots and hard to choose a favourite. The first two really grab you with the sun lighting but they're all amazing!

Top notch shots right there.....Absolutely luv the humpback shots..Last year I did a trek across the Northern Newfoundland coast and we stayed in Twilinggate for 2 days. I remember sitting on the cliffs, with a few humpbacks basking in the sun below me and it was incredible to watch..
I had lined up a local fisherman to take us out the next day to see them but the weather turned and we never made it out. So our Humpback encounter was cut short..:(

Your photos are the type of captures I would of hoped for, you certainly captured their grace and beauty.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers
