I am looking to get a Point n Shoot, just to keep in pocket for easy use and handiness.

Right now i think i am between the canon 1200IS or the canon 780IS.

Wondering if you all have some advice or opinions on PnS cameras, I really havent used them that much since have always had DSLR.

Yea i was just looking at that WX1, it looks real nice. Having the better CMOS sensor, and a f2.4 lens.

Thing is though parents were going to grab me a PnS for early christmas gift so i can use it for my trip to Japan. They mention this last night and i leave saturday morning. Not sure they would want to spend the 350 for the sony. They were looking more at the $200 range it seems, although id much rather have the WX1 spec wise it looks awsome for a PnS.
