I found all of the images to be quite sharp and effective.
I felt that some of the backgrounds in your images looked artificial but that seems to be quite common in the macro images posted on this forum (even those posted by the gurus.) I accept that sort of artificiality in return for the incredible detail some people capture. I'm not there yet on that level of detail.
