I like it
I like this image. The transluscent petals and soft spotlight in the back are pretty. My only nitpick is the leaf, which I think distracts slightly.

thanks for the comment on the rose ,the leaf ah the leaf I know what you are saying i look it out i left it then i just left it -- still don't know thanks again for the comment

Like the rose, got good detail and depth.
maybe some more contrast and the leaf doesn't bother me

Just a tad more contrast and maybe fill light to loose some of the front shadow whada ya think??

i think both of these are quite good, especially the gull. i dig the shadow detail on the rose and the contrast of light and dark areas.

thanks doc the gull is a bit dif. thanks i like the shot ,thanks for commenting on the rose it was one of the first flower shots i have liked but in with the leaf out with the leaf more contrast less you would think the rose was an osprey are you shooting sunday
