On our way to Arches we ran into snow and stayed at Monument Valley. Visibility was nil, but when we woke up in the morning this is what we saw.

    Awesome series, Dan!
It looks like it pays to go out of season - you have no crowds in the frame, nice light and, my gosh, snow covered mittens are to die for! thumb.gif

Wow, snow in Monument Valley! I was there last summer, but boy oh boy - it's incredible to see these during the early winter. Very nice shots, Dan!

Awesome series, Dan! clap.gif I like the first one, Park Ave, and the warm spot best, but not by a huge margin. They're all really good! You really had a great trip for yourself. nod.gif

Got to agree - Awesome series. clap.gifclap
One teeny tiny nit for me - in the 2nd one there is a light on the far left about 1/3rd down (looks like electric light/car) which keeps pulling my eye away from the rest of the image.

Wow! Some great stuff here. And I would provide my own title but I'd probably get censored :D

My favorite of the Monument Valley shots is the second (you might want to spot heal the bright lights in the upper left), it's great that you were able to capture a familiar subject with unique conditions.

Warm Spot and Skyline Arch are both fantastic as well. Great stuff!

very nice series, Dan... the Mittens sure look a lot different from the pano on my wall! :D looks like you had Delicate Arch pretty much to yourself... i'd love to get back there one day when the weather will let me stay till sunset, and not too many people crowding the ledge... i had to settle for the "license plate" shot, but still better than nothing! ;)

These leave me longing.... and that is good! My faves: the first one and the snowflake shot. In the first one, on my monitor the rocks are a bit dark. It might be just me but if not maybe you could adjust it but if not it is still beautiful. The snowflake shot looks like I am there. clap.gif

Fantastic series. What an unusual sight at least for me....seeing snow in Monument Valley. so many beautiful shots, what a trip. I to love the snow flakes "warm spot" just the perfect shutter speed to really highlight the flakes.

    Well done my friend!
