Ever wonder what Google knows about you? Well, now you can find out with Google Dashboard. There's really nothing very surprising. All the contents of your gmail account, chats, contacts and YouTube viewing history are there. The dashboard shows you what information (very little) is available to the public. It appears that they will be adding other Google products to the service including News, and Analytics. It is worth noting that search history is not there if you haven't signed up for Web History. Hopefully, that means they are not attempting to associate searches with Google IDs, but who knows? It also appears that deleted emails are truly deleted, which is also good.

Just thought you might be interested.

I have been using google analytics for over a year now. They keep track of the comings and goings of every page of my smug site including but not limited to which country each isp that visited the site came from.

The dashboard only keeps track of anything I signed up through google...such as I have a blog and advertisment on google search. I am not seeing where it has any of my browsing history stored in my dashboard.headscratch.gif
