This is an idea that's been running through my brain this week. Thoughts?

I like the image overall but am having trouble seeing 'fill the frame'. I may not have a clear idea yet how to interpret the theme though.

Someone's been to the Korean War Memorial....:D

I love the color version, but agree that for this challenge your main subject needs to fill the frame more. I think you need to experiment with some crops. How does this look with a vertical crop?

Yup--what they said. Color is good. Play with crop. This challenge is deceptively hard because by filling the frame you have much less real estate to evoke a reaction from your audience. I am not convinced this particular subject can do it the way you've shot it, but certainly keep trying. I like the contrast of the color and the statue... Keep at it.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Linda, I'm not sure a verticle crop works. (At least not for me.)

Did try a tighter crop in from the right. I kind of like it.

Indiegirl, you might be right about this not being a good subject for this challenge. We'll see if I come up with something else.

    Thanks for looking.
