At least in this shot there is a plane. I was up on the bridge from Mt Pleasant, SC to barrier island Isle Of Palms, taking shots of birds, plus trying for a curves shot for the challenge. I got some landscapes while there, I don't think the curves are prominent enough, but I do think that a marsh is one of the nicest things the gods have given us. ginger, comments, etc.

Below, another with the plane.

No more worked up with the plane. I saw it come back later, before the rains came.

Thanks for looking, all comments welcome, even suggestions on improvements. They are welcome, but I do tend to whine. I think I will post one on the "help" forum. The color is off, not posted here, though.

ginger, I really do love the colors of the marsh, this is a lush summer green. Our seasons are subtle changes in the marsh colors.

The colors and the composition of water, greens and sky in this one especially work for me, ginger. It looks like a beautiful landscape.

    Ginger,

I love the look of the clouds over the green of the marsh. Great capture.

    Hi Ginger,
I like #2 because there is a little more land to look at. The green grabs my attention in the others, but there is more sky than land. I like the blue sky in #3 too. And there the plane is not competing to draw my eye. But, overall, I'd say #2. They are all very peaceful looking. Nice cool colors.

    Hi Ginger,
Tough choices, but I have to go with #3 as my favorite. I find the color more pleasing than in the others. The blue contrasts nicely with the clouds and gives more to look at in the sky. Nice shots all the way around.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Chris

They are all nice Ginger, but for some reason I like the last the best. I know you've taken the rule of thirds and stomped on it but the photo's perspective gives the impression that the wetlands go on forever (wouldn't that be nice), under a huge sky. thumb.gif
