Descriptions for Galleries not showing up on new galleries?

Hi, I was catching up on photo uploads and noticed that when I look at one of my gallery category pages the descriptions I have for old galleries show up right under the gallery name, but there are some new galleries where I wrote a description, and it shows up on the gallery page, but not in the Category page.

Does that make sense? Like if I'm looking at the Category page I see the list of galleries and old ones have descriptions but recently uploaded ones do not... but if I click on that new gallery, I can see the description on that page.

Is this some glitch? Can anyone help me figure out what's going on? Thanks!

The folks that could help you would need a link to your site and a reference to a specific gallery that has a description, but isn't showing it.

you probably set the gallery to 'clean' in gallery settings....

Looking at the settings that does appear to be what's happened. Which is odd because I never changed them (I use Jeffrey's lightroom plugin for uploading to smugmug and had a standard preset of settings that it applies to each new gallery, and I haven't changed anything on there at any point). Maybe something changed during one of the recent website updates or something.

I'm now wondering if this is also why photos are ending up out of order in the gallery after upload...
