Honestly, they don't feel comfortable being around each other!

Maybe it's the photographer that makes them nervous. :)

I think that I would clone over the burned out white between their arms and at the right above her shoulder in the cover image. They distract from the people.

The posing site at the edge of deep shade makes it difficult to get consistent whites on opposite sides of her blouse. Fill light could allow easier color adjustment.

In the back shot, a longer focal length would let you step back and screen the sun from hitting the lens front. It would also straighten the building a little.

The 'sun spots' on this image could also be toned down in post-processing.

You may not get to have a choice, but shooting when the sun is high and shooting into the sun create a challenge for any photographer.

    Jerry,

Your not gona like this, but you asked.

Your cover image is way out of focus, (looks like camera shake, slow shutter speed to me), the white balance is off, and if this is going to be a CD cover you need basically a square image with white space for title, text, etc.

While the back cover can be cropped to a square image it isn't real sharp and I don't find the location composition to be interesting.

Neither image draws the viewer in, or pops out.

As a photographer I think you need to work the musicians and get some emotion to show on their faces.

I would put more thought into this and re-shoot.

    You asked. :D

Start again. Sorry to be harsh but these are basically dreadful. Here are a few of the specifics that scream out for attention next time:

    1. Poor focus.
    2. Horrible colors. Radioactive jeans, green skin, (badly) photoshopped sky.
    3. Bad crop. All kinds of body and instrument parts amputated.
    4. If you're going to shoot architecture (bus shelter) you need to straighten the verticals and fix the perspective.
    5. Poor poses -- the subjects don't connect with each other let alone the viewer.

I am a music person, not a photographer, so take these comments as you see fit. (I am not saying I could do better but sharing what I see)

The color on the hair is very disconcerting.
The fact that the bus shelter is off kilter does not make much sense to me
The bus shelter having a lens flair in it is odd

The thing that is missing in these photos is any way to understand the people and the type of music they make. Perhaps some action shots of making music would be better.
