I'm wondering how my Miss Tatiana got to your house, is what I am wondering!!!
Other than that, its a beautiful, peaceful cat, but I am not thrilled to be looking QUITE so much into her ear!!

    Thanks for sharing!
    Trish

Pyry - crop tighter or looser, but as it is, the first thing I notice is the missing ear-tip. Can you come RIGHT in so it's mostly about the eye? Even a pano including the nose and none of the ear might work.

Gorgeous puss - wow, what eye colour! thumb.gif

Nice kitty. Looks just like my last one (Dr. Jonathan Faustus). The bright areas in the background upper left are bothering me a little though.

Nice shot, pretty cat (my eyes are getting red and itchy already). I'm not sure what to make of it for the challenge, however. You have a good subject and a great lens (the 50mm), so maybe something a little closer with some more action/dramatics... some sort of chew-toy comes to mind.

Beautiful cat. It looks quite a bit like our 2 cats. I agree the ear's a little distracting and on my laptop monitor I can't see any detail in the black area on the side. Could just be my monitor though. With the great detail in the eye it may be worth cropping out the left and top and see what it looks like.

I like the colors in his black fur. Looks just like my black kitten... he's too busy to sit still for a portrait!

Looks oversharpened to me. Black animal fur is really hard to get just so. You want to show the texture and keep if from getting plugged, but it's very easy to make it look unrealistic.

Sometimes it helps to sharpen the K channel in CMYK and then multiply blend with a slightly flat version in RGB.
    If not now, when?
