Yeah, that's what I'd like to know. eek7.gif

Great shots, Aaron. I like the first two the best. Great colors and movement and that moss in #2 really adds to the scene.

I'm thinking that canyon wall looks reminiscent of the Little Colorado River canyon we've shot at before. Although, there's too much water for this time of year and I think you would have shown us a picture of the falls if that was the case. headscratch.gif

This is the Salt River Canyon between Globe and Show Low. I was trying to find some fall colors but most of the leaves had already turned in the Globe area. Took a chance on there being some color in the canyon and arrived about 11pm Saturday night after leaving Sexy6Chicks wedding. Caught a few hours sleep in the Jeep and then booked up dirt roads and trails until I came to this spot. deal.gif

I really wanted to get to the other side of the canyon for better compositions but it was hard to tell how deep the water was and it was moving at a pretty good clip. I am crazy but not stupid.

Nope- this is a different canyon.
We'll go back to the Little Colorado in the spring for the runoff. I owe you a good visit there. deal.gif

I still think your nuts for going all that way after your busy weekend and having to deal with me all day:D If you want to go back to that spot just let Aaron and I know..we can test the water depth for ya and make sure you don't get into any tricky situations. I'd love to shoot that area and get some pointersthumb.gif

No- there is not a vehicle crossing at all. Would have to physically cross the water but around this location there are no spots to leap across and cannot tell how deep it is.
