#37 - Feedback please?

This is my first challenge, and as such I'm a bit aprehensive about the quality of my offerings.

#1 do not like the light #2 too many subjects #3 same but the rope would work I think with less concrete

Welcome to the challenges .
Ok out of the three you posted, I think #1 has potential, it fits the theme nicely, it's different than most of the posts I've been seeing, different is good, but it needs help in post processing. Don't have any tips on how to work on it in PP, but it just needs a little something.

I like #1 and #3 but both need some work. They both look flat to me. More so in #1. Keep it up, looks like you're on the right track.

i'll play a bit more with #3, and probably try to re-shoot #1, see if i can get better light, because i don't think i can fix it given the tools and knowledge i have.

i went back for a re-shoot, but wasn't really blown away by any of the new ones, so instead i tried to 'fix' the original one.

thoughts? i think it's better, but is it worthwhile enough?

More pop
This version has more pop that the first one. I like the PP better.

Diana, I think you fixed too much. The first one has much more detail and an almost aged feel, but no true black. If you are using Photoshop try playing with the curves. If not, just increase the contrast, but not as much as that last version.
