How do I invite someone to join a community?

Hi,

I have created a community for our small Yacht Club, hence wish to keep it private and by invitation only.
I have added some galleries to the community, but cannot see how to issue invitations to users.

Any help appreciated,

Make the community private (edit settings, top of community page). Then go to the Smugger's homepage, and invite them.
