So all of a sudden when I try to log into my account on my computer downstairs when I put in my username and password and hit login nothing happens. The page just refreshes itself and there the spaces sit blank where you log in. This does not occur on my laptop only the main computer which uses Internet explorer xp and windows 8. I have also found this to be happening with sites like Youtube and a site called thestockexchange. Any thoughts on how to remedy this? It's so frustrating especially because all my stuff for smugmug is on the computer that won't let me log in.

are you using pre-filled info? Try clearing your forms, etc... and be sure you enter the correct email or nickname, and password.

What happens if you use Firefox, does that work fine?

Hi Andy! Yes I have cleared my forms, temp. internet files, history, ect. I am using the correct nickname and password. It is weird. The first site my comp did it with is Youtube, then several others, now smugmug. Again, my laptop is fine, it's just my main computer. Is there a security thing I should be doing, a firewall thing, ect. It has the same problem when I tried firefox. Help! Thank you!

Have you done a full virus scan? That sounds like something wrong with your machine... please advise.

To be a little more helpful, make sure you have cookies enabled, or that your antivirus program isn't set to be ultra secure (some block EVERYTHING).

I hate to sound like a customer support rep, but have you restarted your computer? It sounds like a problem with XP to me.
