Possible? Image in more than one gallery?

Under 'Tools', 'Many images' there two tools that seem to do the same thing, move an image to another gallery.
One says 'move to another gallery', the other says 'move to multiple galleries'. The later leads one to believe that we can post an image in two or more different galleries. But I've tried to do that and it does not do that. It simple deletes it from one and adds it to the other.
Why?

Also I still do not understand why we cannot thank another member for a comment on our image with a simple reply feature on that image, rather than sending them an email, or posting a comment on the image that they may never see and then getting an email notifying us of our own 'thank you'. It is useless, annoying and does not encourage one to bother thanking them.

Thanks again!:scratch

On your second question, I think there's something currently in the works for this, IF a person leaves an email address. I just saw it discussed somewhere, but don't know where. On your first question-- You're confused about the two different purposes for those tools. One tool makes it easy to move photos from the gallery you're in, to one other gallery. (not copy them) The other tool is easiest to use if you want to move (not copy) several photos into several different galleries. (otherwise you'd have to go into the first tool a few times, so this is very handy) However, if you instead want a copy of a photo to be in two, or even more, galleries, here's what to do: Under "tools", click "make a copy". (this tool would not work for me today, but that's rare-- it usually works well & very quickly). If you want a couple copies, you'll have to copy it again. Then move the copies into other galleries and keep one in the original gallery if you want. If you think about it, the "move" and "copy" functions are named just like those same functions in your computer files & folders. Just so you're aware though-- virtual galleries are evidently in process (it's the top request, as well) so this may make that seemingly cumbersome process I described obsolete, or at least less needed.

It's a part of the comment function - if they leave an email address you can write back.

    Sorry we tripped you up.

1st option is to move one or many photos to one new or existing gallery. 2nd option is to move different photos to different galleries.

    Try 'em they won't bite!
