Sunset Lighting C&C request

Trying to get the balance right. I only had my on-camera flash and nothing to bounce off of. I tried to fake a little bit of shadow with a gradient in LR.

3. I think the gradient is too heavy here?

5. I guess I needed to have shot down more to have avoided the sky here, but did the rim lighting turn out right?

The sunset is super in #1 (my personal favorite). You can see that the flash wasn't bounced because of the pinpoint catch lights...but they are goregous shots none the less! Colors are magnificant! I love the rim hair light in 5. To me it looks top notch! Good work!
