I have really been busy, a lot of bookings for me, and a convention !!
I finally sat down and spent an entire day learning what Lightroom was supposed to do for me, I GET IT!!

I'm feeling I am really making progress in my skills and understanding what to do and when. It really came to mind when I had a repeat client with 2 adorable kids. I posted one or 2 when I last did them and I was really questioned by a member why my f/ was all over the place, looked like someone didn't have full control of the camera. I was embarrassed. Yep, that was me pretty much. Hit and miss. That was maybe 6 months ago, more or less.
This time I knew what I was doing, I importantly did NOT forget to check ALL settings. etc.
Anyway many thanks to those that help push us in the right direction. I had fun and I am very happy with the results, I know there is a lot more to learn, but I can see and feel a big difference lately.
A few from last Sunday.

Congratulations! It's defintely comforting when you feel confident behind the lens and during PP. I really like 1 & 2...very nice comp, lighting and DOF. #3 is a bit soft for imop.

wow what an improvement! awesome! #2 is fantastic...i am a little bothered by the girls arm placement, but not a big deal... actually i don't even think it's the arm but the sleeve making it look wierd toward the wrist, maybe it's just me today.... Eh oh well it is great anyway. Congrats on the bookings! clap.gifclap.gif
