How do YOU photo blog for your business?

I'm going to start doing a business blog that is related to my website. My question is... how do you do it?

Not, "How do I blog?"
but...
"How do YOU blog?"

Is your blog a smugmug gallery? Maybe journal style? That would be the easiest and most seamless way to do it. But, I think then you lose the ability to provide RSS feeds. Am I right or wrong? Also you lose the benefit of SEO that having a blog that links back to your website provides.

or...

Is your blog on a different platform? Blogger, wordpress, etc. I have a personal family blog through Google's blogspot. It works fine for family stuff, but I'm not sure I would like it for photography related things. I don't like the way it codes and displays photos that I have uploaded.

So.... my question. How do YOU blog? What platform do you use, and what suggestions would you have.

I use blogger - but I don't use blogger's method of embedding photos. Instead I use <a href= and <img src statements to present the photos.

I have matched my blog to the look of my smugmug site.
I include photos where clicking on the photos in my blog will take the viewer to that photo in my smug galleries.

If you're interested in implementing the same, see HOW TO match your blog to your smug site (blogger-specific). There are links in the first post of the thread to other smugger's sites who have used this method for their blogs.

I use the Facebook Fan Page. It has been very effective for getting the word out. I don't really blog with it but when I have new photos up I send out a quick little status update that lets everyone know that their are new photos available... I have seen portrait photographers use the Fan Pages very effectively as well.

I embedded the blog within an HTML-only gallery. Makes it seamless for me. The only thing that I have to keep an eye on is the page length, which can be adjusted for longer posts when necessary.

I use a hosted wordpress site that is designed exactly like my smugmug site and I use the blog as the main front page of my website. :D

I host my Wordpress based blog along with a Facebook Fan Page to upload sneak peeks of recent portrait sessions, current specials and my everyday blogging.
