I am starting up an event photography business.
I am in the process of signing up contractors.
How can I get liability insurance to cover the contractors?
Every insurance company only covers me, or any W-2 employee, not 1099 contractors.

Your assistance is appreciated!

1099 contractors should have their own insurance, as they are considered "SELF EMPLOYED" for most practical purposes............................as a contractor I carried insuracne on my equipment and libility (incase some one had a flash fall on them or I stepped on grandma's foot and broke it) but that was it

1099er's should have their own insurance. For events that I'm involved in, non photo, we require them to give us a copy.

Our goal is to use college students. Therefore liability insurance will be a problem for them to pay for.
Any other way besides making them a W-2 employees.
    Any insurance companies include contractors?
