Thanks, guys. We get some awesome sunsets out here, but this one was really special. I could see it building, but I had errands to run before I could get to picture taking. I wish I could have gotten all the way down to the lake, but I was out of time. I used a fence post as a tripod, which was less than ideal because I got way more ground and less sky than I wanted, hence the pano crop. Here's a hand-held shot taken a little earlier with less ground and more sky.


These are wide-angle shots too. Those colors went all the way overhead!

There is nothing better than an Arizona sunset. Great capture! I was itching to get out for some shots yesterday with the cloud cover we were having. It was making for some great lighting situations.
