I already uploaded this as my entry for this round since I may not have time to do much more with it, but I'd still like to post it up for feedback. I have some other shots/angles and it can be cropped a bit differently. Thanks for looking!

    I like the 2nd one better, too. It is not as warm as most fire pictures. I am not sure if it is because of the gray. The red seems more red and less orange than other fire pictures. Is it the stage of the fire? I think I need to study fire more. :D

    It's a shot of the dying coals, so there is no real "flame" in it. Thanks for the feedback :D

    I like the second one. It makes the one hot coal the focal point.
    It looks like an almost-cold fire that was warmed up by blowing on it.

    I just came in from cleaning out our fire pit, this one hits home!

    Thanks Chris. I really liked the detail in the log, so I tried to bring focus to the hot coal and the log right above it. It was still very hot, believe me rolleyes1.gif
