I think this works really well. Maybe cropping some from the top and a little from the right, and then play with levels or curves to give it some pop.
    Nice capture!

I'd crop out the top section down to the bottom of that little bush/branch in the upper left.

When I read 'shooting' this was not what I was expecting :)

Nice capture and the pp has definitely made it a stronger image.
IMHO there is still something not quite there for me but I'm not sure what.
It may need a tad more pp or it may be a simple as the tilt on the target cf the image frame. I know why the tilt is there but it is distracting me. It may be worth seeing how it looks with the tilt reduced - but without making the shooter look out of whack.

I agree, the tilt is distracting. I think you could choose to straighten the whole image, or add tilt to it to make it more obvious and add tension, and would strengthen the image either way.

A good black and white conversion may also help to remove some of the distractions and allow the viewer to focus on the lines.

Fixing the target tilt seemed to work... going the other way, for more extreme tilt, didn't so much - got that tree back by her head, and it just seems wierd to me.

So here's the fixed tilt, and a BW conversion of the same image...

    Yep that nailed it thumb.gif.
Whilst there are more distractions in the background the colour version is the stronger image imo.
