Hello everyone. This is my first post here and thought I'd share some of my personal favorites. I mostly shoot landscapes but am always up for trying something different.

Nice series, particularly #5. Despite #5 being the best, it has a bit of a blue cast to the shadows (could be more of my monitor). Otherwise it is a great comp from foreground to background with a great complement of reflection and transparency to the water.

Holy crap. I was going to submit my first post to the landscape section, but now... I think not.

    Nice photos.

First of all - welcome! Secondly - WoW! These are gorgeous. With all the color exploding I think the black and white is my favorite -though - the tree and silhouette is fantastic. Gee - they are all fantastic. Can't wait to see more!

The pics are amazing. Where did you learn your HDR i'm trying to pick up that technique but you seem to have it down perfect.

Thank you. I've been shooting hdr for a little over a year. I started with some basic Photomatix tutorial and from there just have been tweaking my process as I learn.

Amazing photos! I love your HDR processing! I also love how you took photos of subjects that would normally be overlooked and turned them into art!

All very nice images. Just curious if Topaz was used in your post processing?

Very strong compositions, you have a good eye.

I do think the HDR and saturation appear a bit overdone though. Perhaps if you just toned it down a hair?

Don't tone down a thing! Fantastic landscapes. Keep up the good work.

    Thank you all very much.

@mjs - I've never used Topaz. I've heard about it but so far haven't tried it out. I use a combination on Photomatix, Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop in my post processing.

@Kory Lidstrom - I think it boils down to personal taste. If I toned it down then it would be like I want it :D

    artographer
Your sign calling yourself an artographer is great -- and appropriate. Beautiful stuff that should be up on a wall somewhere. Very nice. Agreed on an earlier one that said the pic of the drains was their favorite -- love when you can turn something like that into something beautiful. Very impressed.

So much to learn, so little time! I like the drain as well, and panorama no. 8 reminded me of the lord of the rings somehow.
Street & Portrait because of the people. Landscape because it's pretty.
Disappointed with AF of Tamron 28-75 2.8, me less happy.
