NCAA Div 1 Northeast XC Championship - in a rain and mudbowl

Today, I tested my new Aquatech rain jacket as I shot the NCAA Div Regional XC Championship at Franklin Park, Boston and it rained and rained and rained - the mens race was shot on a 70mm-200mm f/2.8 but with the women;s race starting at 330pm I ran out of light and switched to a 135mm f/2 prime. All shots were taken at ISO1600 and have not been PP for noise.

I normally shoot a very high proportion of in focus shots but when you shoot in this weather it does challenge your gear!

    Wow !! - I give you a lot of credit for being out there today. Great pictures, I don't think too many people were capturing photos at that race today so I bet the runners will really appreciate them.
