The OP may have been asking about PhotoCommunities, but I could be wrong. Mistifarang, if you were asking about sharing a photo (or gallery, actually) in more than one Photo Community, right now you can't do that. But if you mean you want a photo to be in several different categories or galleries of yours at once, right now you'd have to copy it (using "tools" and "make a copy") and then move one copy over to another gallery. As Andy shows in his link though-- a much simpler way is coming!

Yes, Anna Lisa, that's what I mean clap.gif! I was used to that in another album I am slowly leaving. I think one can share much more photos in this way and I think it encourages members to create more interesting "groups". Lots of times certain photos aren't specific grafted at only one community, which doesn't mean by the way that one object should be necesseraly loaded into a hugh amount of communities but it should be really nice to publish them under several objects! thumb.gif

I know you can vote for this request in the UserVoice forum. I saw here in the forums that someone has started this request. I'm sure it has very low priority right now, but perhaps you can gather some voters! I think the higher priority for many people here right now is getting PhotoCommunities to allow customizations... since most of them don't, this deters lots of people from participating in them. Will post back here if I find the request that you can vote on. --Anna Lisa

I did if I follow what you mean. I participated in another album with more than 10.000 photos (I mean my pics) which I want to leave. I'm sure it is one of the strenghts of the album!! The communities in SmugMug are almost nil when you compare. In my opinion it's giving the participants lots of motivation and lots more visits! So many photos do have more than one interesting item!

Mistifarang, I just found the thread I'd mentioned to you... because I just answered something in that thread and noticed the link again that this person had given: http://smugmug.uservoice.com/pages/1...ties?ref=title So, if you want to vote, sign up for uservoice and cast your vote! As I said to that other person though, I think communities (groups) are just not the main thrust of SmugMug... there are lots of other things that SmugMug does much better at, and PhotoCommunities is only a small part of the scene here. On other sites, Photo Groups take up a lot of time & are interesting, but I'm not convinced they gain a person much in the way of sales or popularity.
