Randy, great catch! Picturesque and perfect with the flying bird silhouette. thumb.gif

The dark spot at the horizon, right under the sun confuses me. Is this an artifcat from PP or a natural phenomenon that defies my understanding of optics?

Thanks for replying Schmoo and Marcy. Schmoo...the dark spot is an anomoly that appeared when the exposure was increased and it is in direct relationship to the sun...it does have something to do with how the light is reflecting in that area.......I had thought about cloning it out.

What a beautiful sunset shot. The first is the one I would like to take... it is just the perfect composition and feel.

I do like the landscape orientation more than the portrait one.

    Thanks for sharing.
