Where'd they go?

I wanted to move a number of pics from one gallery to a new one, so I used the "move many" to a new gallery, typed the name of the gallery in, hit return, and was told it moved the pics.

But - they're nowhere to be found - either in the category they came from, or under the "Search" button.

The gallery title has the words "blood red tree" and "golden sunset", and came from an unlisted gallery.

    Hi Tim,

The gallery should be in the same category that the source gallery you moved the photos from . I found only one gallery with "blood red tree" in the name on your site. It's in the travel > 2009 road trip subcategory and it's name is "2009-07-06.3 Feasterville-Trevose PA - A Blood Red Tree and Gold Sunset". Is this the gallery you're looking for?

If not, could you give us the link or the name of the gallery you moved photos from?
How many photos had you selected? What exactly did you enter for the new gallery name?

For future reference, your SmugMug nickname is valkyrie.

    That's what I thought.

    Yes - that's the one.

This is odd, in that when I used the 'search' function it didn't find it, and the new gallery wasn't added to the end of the set of galleries like it does when I make a new gallery using 'add photos'. That FF's 'find' button ins't working isn't helping things either. eek7.gif

Could this be an issue with how long it takes for a new gallery to appear?
