My wife would like me to shoot some images for a tripcate and has requested an old barn in a nice setting. It would be nice if there was some open area around the barn that is somewhat interesting since the Barn will probably be in the middle with a flanking image on each side.
A recent issue of The Columbian featured some old barns around Walla Walla on up towards Pullman. We live in the Kennewick area. I've been thinking of heading up to Steptoe Butte in the next week or so. If anyone can suggest any old barns, or general areas I would really appreciate it.

Kinda late, but there are some nice old barns in the area between Moscow, ID and Pullman. Leaving US-95 just south of the U of I, take Palouse River Drive west. You'll first come to the big red barn at the bottom of the Arboretum. Continue on to see several great examples, including a round barn on a hill south of the road, about 2/3 of the way to Pullman.
