Need help deleting sub-categories

I have an "Other" gallery that is used to store admin files. It appears that I somehow created two sub-categories that are causing the otherwise private "Other" gallery to show on my home page. However, if i go to the delete sub-category section, there are no sub-categories showing for "Other." Any help would be appreciated.
