backlit cmos sensors

I have been reading that sony had devleoped back lit CMOS sensors back in 2008. I don't know if they or anyone else has ever released a camera with it yet. Can anyone confirm? I want to see ISO results.:huh

Odd. I'd think variable ISO sensors would be a better way of going about it, but then again I don't know what I'm talking about

Yes I saw this announcement but I was waiting on actual shots.If it can deliver then cameras might be able to shoot in the dark!
