Photos not uploading intermittently

Hi,
I was trying to upload JPG images to my gallery today morning
This is the gallery

By default I first used the simple uploader to upload 5 images.
Now I have an Asymmetric DSL connection, and the max download speed I see is 100KBytes/s, ditto for upload. this is at night.
Daytime, the download speeds go down to 64KBps and upload to around 30KBps

Now when I used simple uploader to upload my 5Meg JPG image, it was showing me 10Mbps, and the image was uploaded in less than 10 seconds!
Whooosh. No Errors also.
But when I clicked on gallery, nothing there, empty.


Finally I had to use Send To Smugmug.
At first try it uploaded 3 pics, with 2 saying failed.
Only when I retried it could upload.

Is there some problem going on.
finally after 3-4 tries I was able to upload all the pics, and ended up with duplicates also.

I am seeing errors in your upload log: http://www.smugmug.com/homepage/uploadlog.mg that appear to be connection related. Contact us on the help desk as we have some tests that you should run to see where the problem is at.

Thanks for the reply doc.
I tried again last night, and everything is working perfectly fine!
Looks like a freak problem.
Seeing close to 10Mbps on my puny ADSL uplink actually had me sweating!
