Mystery lens hood adapter. Anyone know about it?

I have a Tokina 80-200mm and the screw on Lens Hood is kinda annoying, not to mention heavy. I found this while searching around on Ebay. I'd love to have a 1/4 turn setup. Thanks!

That's new to me. I did a number of searches and came up with nothing. I wonder if it is a DIY adapter of some sort?

I saw something similar on another posting, but it was for a different thread size. Other than that, I've come up empty. I'll keep looking.
