I usually deal with wildlife but shot a few of my grandsons' games a couple of weeks ago and thought that I would get your opinion of some of the shots. Please let me know what you think. All of them were taken with a Nikon D3. Some with a 300mm and some with a 70-200mm.

I often shoot my 300mm at f2.8 for soccer if the backgrounds are distracting.

Yea, I'm having a problem with my sensor. I can't get it clean so I have been stopping it down more than I want. This has been the only problem that I have had with the D3. Other than that it is a fantastic camera.

You're stopping down the lens to to avoid issues with a dirty sensor? Thats opposite of what you want to be doing. Shoot wide open to decrease the DOP, which it turn throws crap on your sensor more OOF. And yes...the D3 is a phenomenal camera.
