Also called Bennets Wallaby....well...at least i recon it is. I didnt grow up around this area & 0zzie animals do change their colours from region to region.

This is a strip of bush only 15klms (9 miles) from our CBD. These blokes live happily in the middle of 2 million people/cars/dogs/ etc. Unfortunately there are more dead on the side of the road than i see walking in the bush.

I was actually bushwalking looking for koalas but didnt see any.

I got him in mid chew...its a young male.

I saw a bunch of Kangaroos last weekend when I went just outside of town too..... Kangaroos are about the easiest thing for us Ozzies to find hu rolleyes1.gif
There are usually a lot of Koalas around the same area, and I didn't even thing to look for any headscratch.gif well usually they are so far up the trees, they are not easy to get a photo of.

The Melbourne Zoo is where I wanna go, but its been so dang cold and wet down here, and my trip to USA is just two more weeks away, and I still have things to do to prepare for that.

Hey Gus........ I had a trial pack of my Crumpler and I am thrilled that I can fit in my camera, all my lenses and my flash, filters, batteries etc, about the only two things that I didnt get in the back were the two battery charges and a couple of cables...........so I am rapt to the eyeballs clap.gif

Thanks for sharing your Kangaroo & Kangabutt too rolleyes1.gif

Thanks skip...plenty wallabys around here but the roos are out a bit further. There is a golf club nearby though that has to chase them away from the japanese tourists....they like 'em in parks but not out in the open lol3.gif

The crumpler is fantastic. Mine is cockers & weighs in at about 10kg. You need comfort for that weight. Than damned 400 does the damage...take it out & its light.
