So my mary kay director wants me to photograph her and her husband for her kids. They're older, mid to late 50's early 60's and he's a cop. Evidently he HATES to get his picture taken, won't smile and always blinks.

I'm confident I can do this, it will be at their house (they have 8 acres with a horse, and a pond) so at least he'll be comfortable in their environment. I plan on coming at this kind of like an interview I'll put them in an area I want them, let them interact and just kinda talk to them about how they met and whatnot while taking pictures.

HOWEVER, I've never really done portraiture for older couples, especially more 'refined' people like she is, so any advice and examples of photos like this are appreciated. Just need to see things and make sure my ideas are along the same lines.

I immediately thought of this thread from HeatherFeather.

These folks are probably older than your subjects, but it might give you some ideas about how to work with adults.
