A few weeks ago I went up to Jerome with my parents and rode on the Verde Valley Railroad. It's a 4 hour trip..2 hours in, 2 hours out. The first fall colors I saw this season here in AZ. The smoke you see in some of the pictures is from a controlled fire that was going on that day. C&C welcome.

I love Arizona. I missed most of our fall colors here in Nevada because my wife had this crazy notion that we had to spend a couple of weeks in Maui.

My only critique is that you watch your horizons when shooting (very tough when in train or other quick shot situation). I love the fall color you grabbed.

Maui huh? Sometimes you just have to suffer huh?:D

Critique noted, thanks for that. Definitely a new challenge to shoot on a train but I am glad they go slow so not every single one of my shots came out blurry haha. Thanks for the comment!

    Fire nearby?

Anyway, I know how challenging shooting from a train is, good job!

I particularly like the composition of number 6.

Yes, the local fire department was doing a controlled fire that day. It made for some interesting shots I think. Thanks for the comment!
