Slideshow Photos Question

What I'd like to do is have my slideshow showing some images that are not nominally accessible w/o password. I've disable the click-on option, and I have the slideshow search for images with 'slideshow' as a keyword. However, I'm finding that the slideshow can not access images from either password protected galleries or unlisted galleries. I've tried putting the images in both unlisted and pw-protected galleries, but they won't show up.

Are unlisted galleries completely inaccessible, or just unlisted? It seems like the former. I can't enter the url to get to one unless I'm logged in.

Keywords in unlisted galleries are not accessible unless you are logged in. You can create a separate unlisted gallery with your slideshow images in it and point the slideshow to that gallery by gallery number (not using keywords).

An unlisted gallery can be seen by anyone if you give them the full URL to the gallery (this capability has nothing to do with the external links setting). For example, this gallery is unlisted, but you can browse it freely because I've given you the full URL to it. If you go to the parent category, you will not see this gallery listed.
