Love these types of scenes. I wish there was a bit more detail left of frame, but you got what you could. Beautiful, serene capture. I bet you could have heard a mosquito cough from across the pond.
Coming from the southwest I'm used to dry, dry, dry air and I've always liked these shots with dreamy atmospherics. Now I live near Baltimore and it is actually foggy outside (but dark) and somehow I never actually get out to try one myself.
The trees on the right have an almost tone-mapped appearance to them, or like a negative clarity effect in Lightroom. Any post processing there or is it just the magic of the fog?
I do love this type of scene but i would crop the left a bit tighter for me to much empty space
your eye is drawn to the blank space and not the trees which is the stronger point in the pic.
