Well I have to say that after about 500 pics with the SD10 it is a much much much more user friendly camera that the SD9. Now dont get me wrong. I still love my SD9 and I am not planning on buying an SD10. A friend just lent me one of his spare bodies for a little while to see if I like it. I definately do.
Anyways.. here is the first batch of pictures that I have had time to process since I borrowed the SD10. Now I have about 300 that I took over the last week that I have not processed yet, I just wanted to process these first. They are from the DTM race this past weekend at the Norisring in Nuernberg. For those who dont know what DTM is its is the German touring car racing series. Basically they have to use a street legal automobile as the basis for the race cars. Most of the Audi cars are A4's and there is one TT.
Would like to know what you all think of my first experimentation with photographing motorsports. This is something I could definiately get more into.. just wondering if im off to a good start. BTW I only had my Sigma 28-70 EX with me. Not the best lense IMO for something like this. Once I got into the race all I wanted was my 70-200 EX on the camera. I was too lazy to carry it with me though.
Here are my favorites
And here is the gallery where they are all located along with about 20 more.
