Circular Polarizer for ALL Lenses?

I need help & advice since I’m confused with all of this!!! I’m using the Cokin/Lee ND filter system for both wide angle and zoom lenses; love them. I would like to get a circular polarizing filter. Do they make such a filter that will fit into the Cokin rings? I don’t relish the thought of getting a screw on for different sized lenses.

Dunno about Cokin. Keep in mind that you have to be able to rotate CPs to use them effectively. You can buy a single screw-on CP as big as your largest lens, then use step-up rings to mount it on your smaller lenses. Cokin makes a circular polarizer, but some folks bash it for not so good quality.

If you use a 4" x 4" holder, Schneider and Lee make circular polarizer filters which should fit and have a better reputation for quality.

The other option, is to buy a big polarizer, maybe say if your biggest lens is a 77 ring, then buy an 82, and then buy enlargning rings. This way you can buy a good quality polarizer (Hoya, B+W etc.) Then you can enlarge up from say a 55mm up to 82. This would also take care of any vignetting. So you would need an enlarging ring (step-up) from 55-82mm for example. Or you can go the route Ziggy suggested, and get a Lee or Schneider 4X4, and go with that and a holder type system. I used to have the Cokin polarizer. For what I paid for it, I wasn't very impressed. I had the P size one, when I still used P's. I went Z-pro size, and didn't buy it, as it was ridiculously expensive. I just bought a screw on polarizer for my 77mm ring lens.
