I'm not far off completing photoshop top secret, and I have a load of lynda.com courses (including portrait retouching). I'm also doing a 4 day vocational basic + advanced Photoshop course which includes retouching images.

I'm in the process of creating a website and portfolio, I'm just looking for friendly advice really - If there's any going!

Can you make an OK living as a photo editor? anything else I should be learning?

I'm not working at the moment so can be 100% committed!

thanks a lot

Michael

How fast can you turn around 2K images from a wedding?
Can you compete with these companies?

    Photographers Edit .........

    Colorati ...

    shootdotedit .......

    lavalu ..........

    This is but a few.......

Personally if you are really good and want to give you r all to it and if there sin't much competition in you area.....You could make a living out of it......send notices to all the photographers in your area letting the mknow you can take some of the stress and strain off them with quality work and fast turn around.......Most photogs would rather be shutter clicking than sitting in front of a computer screen for a week after shooting a wedding.......I know I would.
