Issues regarding global entry of keywording.

If using quotes (which is prefered method?) why when I enter photo and my name all in quotes, does it drop the photo and leave just my name? Anyone with any info or links to smugmugs details regarding this would help our office out a lot.

an example should read:

photo bob dole

it actually reads:

bob dole

Thanks,
Brian

photo is one of our reserved words, we won't index it (it's too common!)

Ok if that is reserved, what word is not reserved in order to give credit to a photographers picture? We are looking for a resolution to do this globally. Inidivually on our favorites page, manually entering "photo name here" works just fine.

we need it keyworded so people can search by photog or see who actually shot a job. that wont work with captioning will it?

Also on our faves page captions are reserved for links to the full gallery so that wont work there.

Just use a multi-word keyword. "photo by XXXX". That should work fine. No reason to make "photo" a keyword by itself.

I can't test it right now because smugmug isn't compatible with the browser I'm forced to use at work. But if it doesn't work, that's probably just one of the many new keywording bugs that's been introduced.

One step forward, 2 steps backward.

you dont have to test it. we have had issues with it for a while, things work and change back and we have no clue what goes on sometimes it feels like. are they updating the way keywording works on smugmug? Andy was giving me some feed back but stopped for some reason. thanks for your help.
