First time i've seen so many egret buds on a tree :D
Taken way too early and with way to short a lens :(

    Wow!
In one shot you managed to get more egrets than I've taken in my whole life! Then again, I've never taken an egret shot at all, but that doesn't matter...:D

Good series, I think that fist one is super cool! thumb.gif

I got a bird tree last week, too. But my bird tree, like my money tree, had less birds than some others of you have.

I was going to post, it, haha. I should post everything at once in case you all go play without me again.

I love that conversion, yours is a great one for blk and white.

    Hello,

That first shot is really cool. Begging to be printed as a 24x36" or so.....

    Thanks everyone :)

The sun was only just coming up when I took the shot so there wasn't much colour to be had anyway, hence the B&W. It was a tough assignment as there was an eagle circling all the roosting birds so they were all pretty flighty, but as I came along they kept flying further away so the long shot was all I could manage. There must have been at least 500 egrets in this one area!
