Poor end to this guy's evening:

A few other bent axles last night as well. And one flip (which I didn't even see). Guy was fine, just sore, and not happy about the dent to his wallet either.

He sort of looks like he's just watching the rest of the race doesn't he :D

    Worse than his disappointment...
I did a few years of Karting. 90 degreee day in wisconsin, fully suited up, gloves helmet, engine running already, as well as 20 other karts around, and youhave to sit and wait for this guy to get his kart off the track before the next heat can roll out.
Nice shot, looks well lit. Did you use a flash?

Yeah, most get a little depressed when the day goes south.

But, some take it a little better and ham it up for the camera on the ride back to the pits.

And Some get lucky and get things sorted back out and back on the track.

I just happen to be sorting kart pics right now.

Yup. 580EX at -2/3 FEC. And I used to do karting too. Waiting for the guys to clear the track can be uncomfortable while suited up! This track is smart, though. They race summers in the evening. Not that its all that much cooler at 9pm.
