Here are some HDR images of the interior of one the magnificent old churches in Lowell, MA. St John the Baptist Church is one of the churches shuttered by the Archdiocese of Boston a few years ago. A wonderful photo opportunity!

It really is a great photo opportunity. I will be going back to this church this week.

The developer who owns the property would, ideally, like to retain the space for something commercial, like a function hall. However he does have plans drawn up to convert the space to apartments.

That would be sad.

Terrific work, boblu262. Gorgeous location and your HDRs work perfectly here. The organ is incredible. It's a shame the building is empty with an uncertain future.
