I've added a new-feature request to the SmugMug feedback forum, and since I've marked it as a must-have I thought I'd call attention to it here in case others would like to vote on the idea.

When I check someone's gallery to see what they've added since my last visit, I'm unable to easily see what's new. As a result I have to either remember what I've previously seen or I have to spot-check the photo-info to look for the Modified Date. Below are my suggestions for how this area might be improved.
1. Allow both the gallery owner and any end-user viewing a gallery to enable/disable the display of the date on which the photos were added to the gallery.
2. Allow both the gallery owner and any end-user viewing a gallery to enable/disable the grouping of photos by the date on which the photos were added to the gallery.
3. Allow both the gallery owner and any end-user viewing a gallery to enable/disable the display of a colored frame around each NEW thumbnail. "New" means "added to the gallery since the user's last visit to the gallery".
